Orders on the basis that the Scottish Government has established a Short-Life
Working group with COSLA, to develop solutions for the cohort of delayed
discharges with learning disabilities or enduring mental health problems for
people who remain in hospital; one of the aims of the group is to improve the
person centred commissioning of services and the group is due to report by
January 2021 with any wider and additional findings being fed in to the Social
Care Review; is working with COSLA and a wide range of partners to consider how
accommodation options can best be developed based on people’s needs; and the
Committee will be unable to evaluate this work before the next session of
Parliament. The Committee also agreed to write to the Health and Sport
