Summary:
15 December 2015: The Committee took evidence from Isabel Lennox, Graham Campbell and David Pott, Flag Up Scotland Jamaica. The Committee agreed to write to the Scottish Government, local authorities and the Cross-Party Group on the Caribbean. Link to Official Report 15 December 2015
23 February 2016: The Committee agreed to close the petition, under Rule 15.7, on the basis that the Scottish Government advises that it does not currently have capacity to expand its list of priority countries and has no intention to create formal bilateral relations with Jamaica in the way called for by the petition.
