30 June 2016: The Committee took evidence from Carol Sunnucks. The Committee agreed to write to the Scottish Government and relevant professional healthcare organisations. Link to Official Report 30 June 2016

29 September 2016: The Committee agreed to write to the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists to request information on the anticipated timescale for publication of the Good Practice Guide on Cardiac Disease in Pregnancy. Link to Official Report 29 September 2016

21 December 2017: The Committee agreed to close the petition under Rule 15.7 of Standing Orders, on the basis that the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence is developing guidelines which will be issued for consultation in 2018, with an anticipated publication date of March 2019. In doing so, the Committee agreed to draw the petitioner's attention to the fact that there is a facility for people to register their interest in the development of the guidelines and that, if the petitioner is not satisfied at the conclusions reached by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence, they can bring back a petition in the same or similar terms in the future. The Committee also agreed to write to the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence to draw its attention to the petition. Link to Official Report 21 December 2017
