PE1728/A: Scottish Government submission of 18 October 2019 (93KB pdf)

False allegations are lies and there is no such a thing as a small lie. A lie is a lie is a lie. It undermines the law of our land and harms all of society. Our legal system depends on truth. It is why we swear to tell the truth in a court of law.

  • Do you think false allegations need to be considered a serious crime?

This Petition applies to child protection procedures . Applications to take children into care are not made under oath therefore no action can be taken against them when there is hard evidence that the submission misleading information and lies. 11500 children in Scotland are in care because of the total lack of accountability. Social work records are full of negativity, deliberate misinformation and lies, records that families cannot challenge. These records remain for the life time of the family and are reused many times. Childrens Hearings have no training or powers to take action when they are presented with lies.
