Calling on the Scottish Parliament to urge the Scottish Government to ensure that a universal system of Wi-Fi operates on all Caledonian MacBrayne ferries which service the Western Isles to the mainland and to provide a specific timescale for implementation.
The petitioners have also collected 83 offline signatures.

3 September 2013: The Committee took evidence from Roger Willison-Gray, Information Services Director, and Robbie Drummond, Group Finance Director, Caledonian MacBrayne, Stuart Garrett, Managing Director, and Steve Moreton, IT Manager, Serco NorthLink Ferries. The Committee agreed to close the petition, under Rule 15.7, on the basis that Caledonian MacBrayne has initiated a networks project and it will conclude this process as soon as possible.
