12 November 2013: The Committee agreed to close the petition, under Rule 15.7, on the basis that that the Scottish Government consulted on its proposals earlier in the year, the petitioner responded to the consultation, and the new Licensing Bill to be introduced during the course of this parliamentary year will provide a further opportunity for people to make their views known.
