10 February 2021: The Committee agreed to close the petition under Rule 15.7 of Standing Orders on the basis that the Scottish Government and COSLA have stated that there are sufficient standards, provision and guidance for local authorities, schools, early learning and childcare settings and NHS Boards, and therefore statutory requirements are not necessary.
