We welcome suggestions by the local communities to transform our communities in a vibrant, positive manner whilst retaining our rich heritage and history.

A massive and inappropriate development which would blight the area

This proposed development is inappropriate for the area and lack of public consultation is insulting. If this proposal goes ahead those responsible should hang their heads in shame at wasting an opportunity to improve rather than destroy the area.

All plans must be subject to full public consultation, there is a void of information on this proposed development.

Through this proposal the change in infrastructure means that a main road will be removed between cockenzie and port seton and Prestonpans. This therefore means we are left with one road access in and out of the village. This therefore will cause congestion especially in peak summer periods when the camps are busy with tourists.
