Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body Gaelic Language Plan

The Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body has developed a statutory Gaelic Language Plan for 2008-2013 under the Gaelic Language (Scotland) Act 2005. This was approved by Bòrd na Gàidhlig in accordance with section 5(1)(a) of the Act on 19 May 2008.

In the Plan, the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body (SPCB) will seek to give effect to the principle that the Gaelic and English languages should be accorded equal respect.

The Plan sets out both current SPCB provision and commitments for future development.

Further information about the Plan will be posted here as the Plan is implemented.
