Did someone mention elections?
We're looking ahead to the Scottish Parliament elections in May 2016 as these will be the first elections in which 16 and 17 year olds will have the right to vote - it's a very exciting time!
We are offering workshops and sessions to support young people to find out more about voting, why it matters and how they can make a difference. We are always happy to tailor these sessions to best meet the needs of young people and groups and are happy to deliver these sessions at Holyrood or come to you.
We always welcome your suggestions for shaping up these sessions and would be interested to find out what young people need to know to be able to use their vote.
Along with these workshops, we continue to offer sessions on other topics, for example 'Making Your Voice Heard' and 'Behind the Scenes' as well as continuing to look for opportunities to help young people get involved in the work of the Parliament.
Please contact us if you would like any further information about our services or are interested in arranging one of these sessions.
