PE01856: Support the taxi trade

Financial support is so desperately required for private hire / taxi operators with fixed cost overheads a long with no trade I don’t know if my business can survive without support. Day on day it’s becoming more shocking that this vital hard working industry is being forgotten with families suffering the fallout. Help has fallen very short but other businesses seem to have been given financial support. I feel so let down.

this petition supports the work which we at NPHTA and PHTM have been doing at parliamentary and local authority levels for almost a year now, so we absolutely support this campaign, but would expand the requirement to not only engage with unions, but associations such as ours too, as we all stand shoulder to shoulder on this. i would also refer to the duty and burden placed on the local authorities and regulators to "actively engage with those they regulate as dictated by the regulators code, which is not optional, but instead MUST be complied with.
