Background Info

I am asking for all war veterans that are in receipt of a war disablement pension to be entitled to concessionary travel passes.

I was in the T/A Black Watch for six years.  Whilst serving in the Army, I had a bad accident in 1982 and now have 20% disablement in my right leg.

I have been trying to get a concessionary travel pass for many years now, not just for myself but for every war veteran that is in receipt of a war disablement pension.

I am now asking the Scottish Parliament to do something the UK Government did not do.  Support your war veterans.  There are not many of us under 60 years of age and it would not cost a lot of money.  Those 60 and over get it anyway.

Please do the right thing. Support your veterans and give us back our freedom.
