Since 2008 when the HPV vaccination programme was introduced I have investigated the impact that the HPV Vaccines Cervarix and Gardasil were having on the health of some of the girls who were vaccinated in Scotland and the UK:
• I have corresponded frequently over the years with politicians from various parties in the Scottish Parliament and have had many private meetings with MSPs;
• In September 2012, a presentation was given to a cross-section of MSPs from the various political parties by myself and families whose daughters are believed to have been injured by, and still suffer long-term health issues from, the HPV Vaccine Cervarix;
• My political work has extended to London and I have had meetings with politicians in the House of Commons and the Countess of Mar in the House of Lords; I have also had meetings with my MEP, Ian Duncan as well as communicating with the UK MEPs;
• In June 2014, a presentation was given by families and their girls to Luciana Berger, MP and the Shadow Minister for Health.
• I continue to inform politicians in Scotland and the UK of any important information that I become aware of.
