Myself and other parents of the young people in Barrhead High School have contacted local councillors, council planning department, education department, our MPs, MSPs,MEPs, as well as John Swinney and Nicola Sturgeon. All replies have explained the cause of the delay, but offerred no solution. We have had no replies so far from any representative from Scottish Government. East Renfrewshire Council plan to continue with newer school replacement projects, despite the new Barrhead High School being on the council's agenda prior to 2009.
